Go Show & Tell

by Brett Fuller
When was the last time you told someone what Jesus has done for you? A common misperception about our religious experience is that it is “personal” and should be kept that way. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Christ’s normative response when someone received a touch from Him was to encourage them to share their experience with as many people as possible.
While in the region of the Gadarenes, a man who had terrorized his city through demonic possession came to Christ. When Jesus encountered the man He delivered him from his demons and told him in Mark 5:19 “…Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.” The result: the whole city was awed at what Jesus had done for the man, and for them— for now they could venture into the streets without fear.
Who in your world needs to be awed by what Jesus did for you and simultaneously maybe even feel more safe around you? Live right, live well…
