Here are 3 good questions that ministry and business leaders might want to talk about with their leadership teams.
1. What is going so well that we’d better not touch for fear we might mess it up?
2. What is not working and either needs adjustments or needs to be shut down?
3. What are we not yet doing that we ought to consider for the future?
Many leaders might be surprised to find that the people around them have different answers to these questions. It is common for the person who started a program to think it is one of those “we better not touch it” things, while everyone else thinks it is a #2 – a “we need to shut it down now” situation.
Will you take the risk and ask your team these tough questions – and really listen to their answers?
